Here’s what you need to know to prepare for the changes to Chartable happening on December 12.
Megaphone Customers
- Shows managed by a Chartable team with an active Megaphone Integration can keep the Trackable prefix in place on their RSS feeds until further notice.
- You must implement the Megaphone integration available in Chartable to ensure your Megaphone-hosted show continues to have access to Chartable.
- Check your team’s Integrations > Megaphone Integration page to confirm that your team's Megaphone Integration is set up so you can continue to access Chartable after December 12. More info on the Megaphone Integration here.
- If you have any questions or concerns related to your team's Megaphone Integration, please contact our support team.
- You can continue using SmartLinks and SmartPromos, and viewing SmartLinks and SmartPromos analytics. We intend to make these features available in Megaphone at a future date.
- Reminder to create and export reports for any data that is not connected to SmartLinks or SmartPromos before December 12, as it will not be available on Chartable after Dec 12.
Customers Not Hosted On Megaphone
- After December 12, Chartable teams that do not have an active Megaphone integration in their Chartable dashboard will not be able to access their Chartable dashboard or data on Chartable.
- If you are not a Megaphone client, the Chartable prefix must be removed from your shows before December 12 to avoid any potential disruptions in episode delivery. Learn more about how to remove the Trackable prefix here.
- SmartLinks for shows not managed by a Chartable team with an active Megaphone Integration will no longer be functional after December 12, so we recommend replacing them with an alternative solution before then.
- We recommend exporting reports or recording any data from your Chartable dashboard before December 12, as it will not be possible to access your Chartable dashboard or any data on Chartable after December 12.

Q: I have a show that is hosted on Megaphone. Will my SmartLinks and SmartPromos continue to work after December 12?
A: Yes, SmartLinks and SmartPromos can continue to work as usual for shows managed by Megaphone clients.
Q: My show is not hosted on Megaphone, and I don’t have an active Megaphone integration in my Chartable team dashboard. What will happen to my SmartLinks and SmartPromos after December 12?
A: SmartLinks and SmartPromos created for shows that are not managed by a Chartable team with an active Megaphone Integration will not work after December 12, so we recommend replacing any existing SmartLinks and ending any existing SmartPromo campaigns before December 12.
Q: I'm a Megaphone customer. What do I need to do with my Trackable prefix and my show's RSS feed?
A: If your Chartable team dashboard has an active Megaphone integration, no action is required at this time. The Trackable prefix can continue to work as usual for shows managed in your Chartable team dashboard.
Q: I'm not a Megaphone customer. What do I need to do with my Trackable prefix and my show's RSS feed?
A: If you are not hosting your show on Megaphone, or if your Chartable team dashboard does not have an active Megaphone integration, we recommend removing the Trackable prefix from your show's RSS feed before December 12, 2024, to avoid any potential disruptions in episode availability.
Q: I'm a new Megaphone customer. Can I sign up for a new Chartable account and create a Chartable team dashboard?
A: You may join an existing Chartable team dashboard, but we are no longer supporting creating new Chartable team dashboards. Please reach out to your Chartable account manager if you have any questions.
Q: I'm part of a Megaphone team that has an existing Chartable team dashboard. Can I get invited to join that Chartable team dashboard?
Yes, please email [email protected] to request an invite.
Please provide the following information in the email:
- Email Address for the user to be invited
- URL for the Chartable team dashboard
- Permission level for the user (Viewer, Member, Admin)
- Which show(s) they’ll need access to
Once we have this info, we can add the user to the team dashboard and send a password reset email.
Q: I'm a Megaphone customer with a new show I'd like to add to my Chartable team dashboard. Can I do that?
A: Yes, Megaphone customers with an existing Chartable team dashboard with an active Megaphone integration can add new shows to their Chartable team dashboard via the Team Settings > Podcasts page.
Q: When will SmartLinks and SmartPromos be available in Megaphone?
A: We plan to launch SmartLinks and SmartPromos in Megaphone sometime in 2025, and we will be sure to let you know when they become available natively in the platform. In the meantime, Megaphone teams can continue to have access to SmartLinks and SmartPromos in their existing Chartable team dashboards.
