What is "Conversion Rate"?

For advertisers using SmartAds, the Conversion Rate is the percentage of Impressions that resulted in a conversion (like a "purchase" or "lead" event) on the advertiser's website or mobile app. This is calculated by taking the number of estimated Attributed Conversions and dividing it by the number of Impressions.

For example, if your Conversion Rate is 0.012%, that means that 0.012% of your ads downloaded resulted in a conversion (like a purchase or lead submission).

Conversion Rate is different from Response Rate, because Conversion Rate measures ultimate conversions like purchases or leads submitted, whereas Response Rate measures visits.

For publishers using SmartPromos, the Device Conversion Rate is the percentage of Impressions that resulted in a converted device (a unique device that downloads an episode of the promoted show). This is calculated by taking the number of Converted Devices and dividing it by the number of Impressions.
