Where do the charts come from? I don't see them when I look on Apple Podcasts / Spotify.
We fetch charts directly from Spotify and Apple Podcasts as often as once an hour, and at least once per day—and we get charts from every country that we can, which means 155 different countries for Apple Podcasts!
If you're trying to find yourself on the charts on Spotify or Apple Podcasts, but can't, here are a few things to keep in mind:
- Different dashboard plans have different chart history access. If your Chartable dashboard is on a free plan, you'll only be able to see 30 days of chart and review history. Pricing plans can be found here.
- Check the date & time. The charts update all the time, and may take some time to flow into Chartable. If you were charting yesterday or last week, you may not be charting today.
- Make sure you're looking at the correct country. For example, if you're based in the US, you won't be able to see the Canadian charts easily in Apple Podcasts without changing the country your Apple account is associated with.
-
Spotify's charts look different depending on where you find them. The charts displayed in the application are different than on Spotify's chart website. The Spotify charts that Chartable imports are from the application.
