Can I move a podcast to a different Chartable dashboard?

To move a show from one Chartable dashboard to another, you'll have to change the Trackable prefix in the RSS feed. Each Chartable team has a unique Trackable prefix that can be viewed in the Integrations > Trackable page. Each podcast can only have one dashboard's Trackable prefix integrated at one time.

First, you’ll need to remove the existing Trackable prefix from the show’s RSS feed via the show's podcast hosting platform.

Next, go to the new dashboard you’d like to manage the show from, visit the Team Settings > Podcasts page, and use the search box under "Track another podcast” to add the show to that account.

Visit the Integrations > Trackable page in the new dashboard to view the Trackable prefix, and add it to the show’s RSS feed via the show's podcast hosting platform (instructions are in the Trackable page in the dashboard).

Once the new prefix is in place in the show's RSS feed, visit the Integrations > Trackable page in the new dashboard and click the Refresh Trackable status button.

Can I move the podcast's data, too?

It's not currently possible to move or share data between team dashboards.

Once a new Trackable analytics prefix is added to a show's RSS feed, all download data will populate in the dashboard that "owns" that Trackable prefix. So, the download data collected before the Trackable prefix was changed will be available in the previous team's dashboard, and the data collected after the prefix was changed will be available in the new team's dashboard.

If you have active SmartPromo campaigns, you'll need to create new SmartPromos from the new team's dashboard. The same goes for SmartLinks.

If you are still part of both teams, you can switch between the dashboards you're a part of by clicking on the team name in the top left.
