Replacing Legacy Spotify Integration Connections
NOTE: We are very excited to announce the launch of our new Spotify integration format! This new approach will directly integrate with Spotify’s backend, creating a more reliable data connection for your Spotify stats. We’ll retire the previous integration method on August 5th, 2022.
If you are replacing your legacy Spotify Integration, follow the instructions below. If this is your first time setting up the Spotify Integration, follow the instructions linked here.
The Spotify integration offers listening, consumption and demographic statistics through Spotify for Podcasters. Note that viewing charts from Spotify does not require this integration, and all download information from users listening through Spotify is captured through the Trackable analytics prefix.
The Spotify Integration is available to our Indie, Pro & Enterprise users. If you'd like to upgrade your account please find instructions here.
Replacing Legacy Spotify Integration Connections
1. Navigate to the Integrations page on the left sidebar of your Chartable dashboard.
2. Click on Spotify.
If you used our legacy method of connecting, and haven't set up new connections yet, you will receive special messaging to alert you that you'll want to reconnect the same accounts to prevent an interruption in Spotify integration data in your Chartable account.
3. Click "Connect another Spotify account" near the bottom of the page.
You will receive one of two messages, depending on if we could match your new connection to one of your legacy connections. You'll want to replace all of your legacy connections, to avoid interruptions in data.
